We understand that plans are subject to change, however to ensure the smooth running of our restaurant and maintain a prompt service to our customers, it is vital that you inform us ahead of time of any significant changes in your party's numbers.
Your table will be held for a maximum of 5 minutes after your booking time. After this time, your booking will be cancelled and the tables offered up to other customers. It is vital that you inform us if you are running late for your booking.
In cases where part of a group do not arrive on time, it is at the managers discretion whether to hold the full table for up to a further 15 minutes, or to offer part of the area back to other customers.
Tables for large parties are subject to our table policy. We respectfully ask that customers vacate their tables after the required time in order to allow other customers to experience Stack and Still. During peak times this time is 90 minutes.
Stack and Still operates on a zero-tolerance policy with regards to both underage drinking and inappropriate behaviour. Proof of age will be required for every guest wishing to purchase alcohol. Stack and Still will not tolerate any abusive or inappropriate behaviour towards it's staff or other customers.

We do not accept cash payments at Stack & Still. We accept all major credit and debit cards, as well as contactless payments using Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay and more.
It reduces the chance of robbery or violent crime.
Handling cash is a bottleneck which can slow service.
Time saved by not counting cash is used for training and coaching, improving your experience.

Stack & Still charges a 10% service charge on all tables. This charge does not go to Stack & Still, it is passed directly to the team who look after you during your visit.
If you believe that the service you have received is below a reasonable standard, you are welcome to discuss this matter with our team during your visit, who will be able to remove the charge from the bill, should this be appropriate.
This deal is available all day, 7 days a week with the exception of Pancake Tuesdays.
Stack & Still Gift Vouchers are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase.* After this validity period has ended the voucher is no longer able to be used. The voucher itself has nil monetary value. Please ensure that any credit on your gift voucher is used within the 6 month validity period.
* Vouchers purchased prior to 6th August 2024 have a validity of 18 months from their date of purchase.
We are unable to redeem Stack & Still gift cards at our location inside Bonnie & Wild at St James's Quarter, Edinburgh. This is due to the fact that this location is a concession within the Bonnie & Wild market hall and not an independant branch of Stack & Still.
